Klang.io Introduces Beta Choral Mode for AI Vocal Transcription
Klang.io has announced Choral Mode, a new beta feature added to its artificial intelligence transcription software line. The feature is available within Transcription Studio and Sing2Notes, expanding the platform's ability to process complex vocal arrangements.
Automated Vocal Separation and Sheet Music Creation
Choral Mode is designed to identify and separate multiple vocal parts from an audio source, specifically targeting soprano, alto, tenor, and bass (SATB) sections. Users can upload a pre-recorded audio file or record a live performance directly into the software for transcription. Once processed, the tool converts the separated vocal tracks into editable sheet music intended for transcription and rehearsal applications. Users can then refine the generated notation using the Notion Editor.
Availability
Choral Mode is currently offered in beta. Access to the feature is available to existing users of Klang.io's Transcription Studio and Sing2Notes platforms.
What This Means for AV Integrators
For AV integrators designing systems for music performance venues, educational facilities, or rehearsal spaces, this software update highlights evolving options for automated audio transcription. Integrators working with clients who require performance capture or notation workflows may need to evaluate how source audio quality affects algorithmic vocal separation tools.
