At the upcoming IBC 2026 exhibition, Mimir will showcase its latest cloud-native media production capabilities. The platform aims to help AV and IT teams produce content faster by enabling them to manage content, metadata, editing, and AI workflows within a single, connected environment.

Expanding Production with Mimir Editor

A key highlight of the demonstration is the new Mimir Editor, which expands browser-based production by offering professional editing tools. This tool allows media teams to create finished video packages without the need to repeatedly move media between different systems. Additionally, the platform supports faster sports production by integrating live recording, growing-proxy editing, archive content, graphics, and mixed HDR/SDR workflows.

Integrations and Custom Developer Tools

Mimir offers flexibility for technical teams through open APIs, webhooks, plugins, and a Developer MCP. These tools allow AV and IT teams to connect various AI services and build customized workflows for search, publishing, dashboards, and general content management.

What This Means for AV Integrators

AV integrators can utilize Mimir's open APIs, developer tools, and browser-based editing features to design highly customized, cloud-native media workflows for clients. By reducing the need to constantly transfer media files between disparate software systems, integrators can deliver more efficient and simplified production environments for sports and live broadcast applications.
