Q-SYS VisionSuite’s Google Meet Certification Gives AI Camera Automation a Second Major UC Path
Q-SYS has officially brought VisionSuite into the Google Meet ecosystem, and that is a bigger development than a certification badge might suggest. The company says its VisionSuite AI Accelerator for presenter tracking is now certified for Google Meet, joining other Q-SYS components already approved for the platform, including Core processors, NC Series cameras, and networked microphones. The result is a more complete path for deploying vision-based room control, automated presenter tracking, and participant camera switching in larger collaboration environments.
This matters because advanced camera automation has often been tied to a specific UC stack. If an enterprise standardized on one platform, it could justify deeper room intelligence. If not, integrators frequently had to compromise. By adding Google Meet support to VisionSuite, Q-SYS is giving dealers a way to bring the same more dynamic, immersive room behavior into organizations that do not live entirely inside the Microsoft universe.
Why Platform Flexibility Matters
According to Q-SYS, VisionSuite is designed for high-impact spaces like training rooms, tech talk spaces, and multipurpose environments where a single static camera shot is not enough. Presenter tracking keeps the person at the front of the room framed for remote participants, while participant switching helps audience questions feel visible and intentional instead of chaotic. That kind of automation improves meeting equity, but it also helps large rooms feel easier to use without requiring an operator.
For integrators, certification removes a layer of deployment risk. It gives them a more defensible way to specify AI-driven room behavior in Google Meet projects, especially where clients want a standardized experience across campuses or global office portfolios. It also strengthens the case for Q-SYS as a software-centric platform rather than a collection of isolated devices.
In short, Google Meet support turns VisionSuite from a strong solution inside one ecosystem into a more credible cross-platform design option. In a market where UC standards vary by client, that flexibility can be just as important as the tracking technology itself.
What This Means for AV Integrators
Integrators can now pitch AI camera automation into more Google Meet projects without resorting to one-off workarounds or awkward compromises on room experience. That broadens the addressable pipeline for training rooms, divisible spaces, and executive environments while giving support teams a cleaner path to standardization across mixed UC estates.
